Technological characteristics and international standards of WPC (plastic-wood composite material)

Wpc (wood-plastic-composites for short) is a new type of modified environmental protection material, which is made of wood flour, rice husk, straw and other natural plant fibers filled with reinforced plastics such as polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl chloride (PVC), ABS and processed by special technology.

1. Wood-plastic products are made into certain shapes by mixing wood powder +PVC plastic powder+other additives through high temperature, extrusion, molding and other processes.

Wood-plastic materials and their products have the advantages of both wood and plastic, and are durable, long in service life and have the appearance of wood. Compared with plastic products, wood-plastic materials have higher hardness, stronger rigidity, better acid and alkali resistance, zero formaldehyde and no pollution, and can be used outdoors for more than 20 years under normal use.

1. Good processing characteristics

It can be sawed, planed, turned, chipped, nailed, drilled and ground, and its nail holding power is obviously superior to other synthetic materials. It can also be used for secondary processing such as pasting and painting, which is convenient for producing products with various specifications, sizes, shapes and thicknesses, and provides products with various designs, colors and wood grains.

2. High internal combination strength.

Because the composite material contains polyester, it has good elasticity, in addition, it contains wood fiber and is cured by resin, so it has physical and mechanical properties such as compression resistance and impact resistance equivalent to hardwood, and it is obviously superior to ordinary wood materials, with long service life, economy and practicality, and low price.
